Ma Sri Prathyangira Devi, the Mother's Love


Even if the child is wicked or wayward, do the parents stop loving it? No! In fact if they are true parents they will love the child all the more, because that child gives them an opportunity to demonstrate their generosity and love, just as in the case of the Prodigal Son. The Parents have a chance to forgive the child, and that feeds the ego. So no matter what a child might do, its parents are always bound to love it - if they are true parents.

Mother Prathyangira loves you times more than your most loving parents as she is the supreme Mother of the Universe and you are her child.


No matter where the "child" goes or how much he curses the mother, the mother knows the child must return eventually. Where will he go? The mother can afford to wait for the child and forgive him when he returns.


For those who believe in God no proof of his existence is necessary; for those who do not believe in God no proof is possible.

When Ma wants to give you something She creates a situation so that you must accept it.

"I spend twenty-four hours of the day in the lap of my Mother, so your puny threats do not worry me at all. But my Mother may not like to hear you abusing Her son; I suggest you keep quiet"

No one can harm a devotee of Mother Prathyangira, if they dare to, there end is soon to arrive.

Surrender to Ma, drop the fear


When you see One in All and All in One, there can be no fear; fear of what - of yourself? "Everywhere I see, everything is Me": a little saying I once thought up. "Me" is capital "I", the atma which conveys the whole sense of the experience satori. Can you fear yourself? No, you fear only the unknown; once any thing is known, the fear drops away. Once you know yourself to be part and parcel of the Atma, where is there to fear?


The worst fear of all is the fear of death; once you go beyond the fear of death, you go beyond all fears because you go beyond expectation and anticipation, which are the causes of most karmas: "I must experience this enjoyment before I die", or "I must prevent that person from interfering with my enjoyments." When death has no value for you, time loses its value, and then you don't bother about anything. Then you say, "If I am meant to experience this enjoyment, I will experience it; why bother about it?"

Once you drop fear, the whole world is open to you because you have nothing to take from anyone; you know only how to give because you have nothing to hold on to. What can you posess when "everything is You"? You already posess every-thing; it is really a superb feeling.

Evils of mind and world will tempt you and try to drive you with their power of fright. But don't bother; how can they harm you? You are part of the totality of existence, and your Mother is looking after you; what more do you want?

When Mother enters your life, you are awarded with a super sense of calmness, serenity you experience, then you go anywhere, eat anything, and you are carefree, because something is directing your every move. You become just like a Yantra. The cosmic Shakti plays through you, and you enjoy the bliss. But this is the final stage, you must start at the bottom and go through the grind.


It takes faith, sinceritiy and devotion to attain Mother Prathyangira; not everyone will be able to do it.
